This is a a collection of images of our feathered friends that live in and pass through the neighborhood of Bell Canyon, California. All birds pictured here have been photographed in Bell Canyon by Scott Templeton, a resident of Bell Canyon. He is the sole copyright holder of the images.

This is a work in progress. As more birds or better images are captured they will be added to the site.

In regards to the links to the bird sounds, there are often multiple songs and calls that do not sound like the birds in our area. That’s because the songs and calls of different birds can have regional differences. To hear the sounds closest to the birds in the Bell Canyon area, choose the recordings attributed to areas closest to the pacific coast - like California or Oregon - to hear our regional variations.
