Northern rough-winged swallow
Often perching on open branches and wires, the Northern Rough-winged Swallow can be seen around open areas grabbing insects in mid-air. These small brown birds with a white chest are known to nest in burrows made by other animals or to set up their homes in gutters and behind drainpipes.
