wilson’s Warbler
This bright yellow warbler with a black cap is a spring visitor to our canyon. You’ll find them flitting around the thickets that surround the creek. Named for naturalist Alexander Wilson, they seem to be constantly moving, jumping from shrub to shrub looking for insects.
