YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER

Another bird that never seems to sit still, the Yellow-rumped Warbler visits during the Winter after spending their Summer and breeding as far away as Alaska. As with most birds, the coloring of their plumage differs with regions, but the males in our area are a smart gray with white streaks on the wings and yellow on the throat, rump and sides. Females have the same coloring but everything is a bit more muted.
